About Our Founder

Steppin Stones Professional Supervision was founded by G. Lisette Serrano, an Illinois attorney and Guardian Ad Litem dedicated to supporting children and families navigating complex family law matters.

Before becoming an attorney, Lisette spent 18 years as a family law paralegal, gaining extensive experience in child-focused legal cases.

At age 36, she began law school and earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. She has been practicing law since June 1, 2014.

Through her work with families, attorneys, and the courts, she recognized the need for supervised visitation services that are structured, trauma-informed, and centered on the well-being of children.
